POSITION SUMMARY Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy Production Business Analyst to serve as a critical liaison between Production Groups and IT, translating production needs and technical requirements into documented processes and functional specifications. This role supports the delivery of systems and integrations that optimize manufacturing operations, with a primary focus on ERP, PLM/MES platforms, and Atlassian collaboration tools. The ideal candidate combines deep understanding of manufacturing workflows with technical fluency to improve operational efficiency, data integrity, cross-departmental collaboration, and systems integration between production environments and IT infrastructure. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Partner with Production stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements across ERP, PLM/MES, and collaboration platforms. • Serve as a liaison between Production Groups and IT, ensuring production needs are accurately translated into technical specifications and implementation roadmaps. • Map current-state and future-state production workflows, processes, and data flows across manufacturing systems, including inventory management, production scheduling, quality control, and asset tracking. • Support the design, testing, and deployment of system integrations between ERP, PLM/MES, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, etc.), and other production-critical platforms. • Analyze existing production processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, efficiency improvements, and waste reduction. • Assist in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting ERP and PLM/MES modules related to production planning, scheduling, work orders, material management, and shop floor operations in coordination with IT and production teams. • Develop functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for system changes affecting manufacturing operations. • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), including test plan development, execution, and defect tracking for production-focused system enhancements. • Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials for production staff. • Support data mapping, validation, and migration efforts for system integrations affecting production data accuracy and traceability. • Facilitate workshops and meetings with production management, shop floor operators, and IT teams to align requirements, identify pain points, and establish implementation timelines. • Provide ongoing support for system issues and optimization opportunities, working with IT and vendors to resolve problems affecting production operations. • Assist in change management activities, including communication and training for production operators and management on new systems and processes. Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) • 10+ years of experience as a business analyst, production analyst, or similar role supporting manufacturing or operations functions Core Skills • Experience working with ERP (Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred) and MES/PLM systems; direct hands-on experience with manufacturing modules and Siemens TeamCenter/Opcenter strongly preferred. • Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements from production stakeholders and translating them into functional or technical specifications. • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or integrations in manufacturing environments. • Strong familiarity with production processes such as work order management, inventory control, production scheduling, quality management, and asset tracking. • Strong business process documentation and workflow mapping skills • Proficiency in creating process flows, workflow diagrams, and data flow documentation (Nintex, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar). • Working knowledge of ERP system configuration and functionality related to production. • Ability to write clear functional specifications and user stories for system enhancements. • Experience with UAT planning, execution, and defect management • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage
