This role supports T-Mobile's Customer Information Domain, a core customer platform providing customer information and data capabilities across brands, channels, and lines of business. The product portfolio includes capabilities supporting customer identity, lifecycle management, segmentation, eligibility, customer interactions, fraud prevention, real-time data delivery, and continued platform modernization. Because these capabilities support critical customer and business transactions, reliability, resiliency, data quality, and technical scalability are important product considerations. Job Responsibilities: Be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle by defining vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business and technical goals, including customer data and platform capabilities. Conduct market and customer research to see opportunities and advise product decisions based on data analysis and customer feedback, while partnering with engineering teams on technical discovery and feasibility. Translate product strategy into detailed features and user stories, managing the product backlog to support Agile development teams with clear priorities and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to coordinate release schedules and ensure timely product delivery, including alignment on dependencies, data contracts, and service expectations where applicable. Partner with engineers and solution architects to understand system design, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and incorporate architecture, security, performance, availability, and scalability considerations into product decisions. Monitor product performance and quality in production, addressing defects and driving continuous improvement, with attention to reliability, data accuracy, adoption, and customer or business outcomes. Support Agile delivery by maintaining a healthy, prioritized backlog, handling product dependencies, and participating in planning and delivery activities. Find opportunities to apply data, automation, AI-assisted capabilities, or other new technologies when they improve customer outcomes, product efficiency, or engineering productivity. Create clear product requirements and documentation that communicate product capabilities, expected outcomes, and technical considerations to engineering teams and interested parties. Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required) Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required) 3+ years experience in hands on technical role writing production code, solution engineering, or technical architecture in large scale company/ application/product environment. Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and with modernization initiatives involving cloud migration or legacy-system retirement. Familiarity with event-driven architectures, relational or NoSQL data platforms, observability tools, or enterprise-scale data services. Experience evaluating product and technical tradeoffs involving system reliability, resiliency, security, performance, scalability, and data quality. Experience using AI-assisted tools or applied AI capabilities to support product discovery, requirements development, analysis, automation, or engineering productivity.
