Job description

We are looking for a talented Diesel Engine Test-Cell Technician to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Stoughton, WI. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Prepare and configure test articles, fixtures, rigs, and equipment to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely execution of testing activities. - Install instrumentation in accordance with engineering standards, delivering reliable data collection and support the integrity of test results. - Support testing activities by following established procedures and methodologies, helping ensure safe, consistent, and repeatable test execution. - Contribute to the validity of test outcomes through a strong understanding of test equipment functionality and its impact on data accuracy and performance evaluation. - Apply product knowledge to assess test results, identify potential issues, and support accurate interpretation of product performance. - Perform test stand installations, setups, and troubleshooting activities to maximize operational readiness and minimize testing delays. - Maintain laboratory equipment and test systems to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient testing environment. - Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to support successful test programs, resolve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
