Irving (if applicable) Responsibilities: As a Production Engineering Co-op Student, you'll be immersed in daily manufacturing operations and support initiatives focused on optimizing production processes. Responsibilities may include: Assisting with process improvement projects to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality. Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Supporting root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to equipment performance, waste reduction, and process variability.Collaborating with production, maintenance, quality, and safety teams on cross-functional projects.Participating in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Assisting with developing and updating standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.Supporting equipment trials, process validations, and product testing activities.Creating reports, presentations, and recommendations based on findings and project outcomes.Contributing to workplace safety initiatives and helping identify opportunities to improve operational performance. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.Eligible to participate in a recognized co-op or internship program.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data and identify improvement opportunities.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous learning.
