Software Engineer, Envoy AI Foundations

Job description

Master the Envoy ecosystem and contribute to both in open source and in google3. Contribute to new features including in the AI space. Ensure Envoy features integrate cleanly and efficiently from OSS into the Google production ecosystem. Contribute to maintaining the scalability, stability, and security of Envoy that is required by the large-scale deployment at Google and expected by our OSS community. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience programming in C++, Python or Go. 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. Experience developing applications, systems, or infrastructure using C++. Ability to understand, debug, and implement network protocols.
