The Production Associate is responsible for manufacturing, processing, and inspecting components produced through additive manufacturing processes while supporting safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement objectives. Associates are often required to work in other departments based on business needs and production demands. This position reports to the Production Manager, is part of the Additive Manufacturing department located in DeLand, Florida and is an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Operate additive manufacturing equipment and associated production equipment to manufacture components in accordance with established work instructions and quality standards. Perform post-processing activities including part-cleaning, finishing, inspection, packaging, and material handling to support customer requirements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping expectations. The essential requirements of the job include: High school diploma or GED. Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience in an industrial environment; flexibility to work in other departments as assigned. Ability to read and follow written work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality documentation. Travel, Motor Vehicle & Physical/Environmental Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours per day. Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials and finished products weighing up to 50 lbs. and work safely in a manufacturing environment. It would be a plus if you also possess experience in: Additive manufacturing, 3D printing, or related advanced manufacturing processes. Operating production equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment. Inspection tools and measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges.
