This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will perform general duties involved in the precision cleaning and inspection of aerospace hardware to support Blue Origin’s launch facility and test stand programs for various spaceflight systems. CPV Expeditor/Shop Help - C shift Friday - Sunday Hours: 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM Responsibilities: Cleaning machines inside and out along with other equipment and parts Maintain real-time physical and system-level awareness of hardware location, status, and readiness across CPV. Proactively identify at-risk, stalled, or missing hardware in CPV before it impacts the build schedule. Sweeping and mopping floors and other work areas Supporting the shop’s 5S initiatives Using hand tools to assemble or disassemble furniture, tooling carts, and other pieces of equipment Safely handle hardware utilizing overhead cranes, hoists, and associated lifting equipment. Use titration and other direct measurement methods to analyze and correct CPV Lab solvent/chemical systems. Package accepted hardware and supplies for storage or shipment. Perform shop level maintenance and calibration of equipment such as pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales, etc. Conduct general housekeeping of CPV Lab and Certified Clean Room area. Follow safety regulations and wear protective eyewear, steel toe boots, and other applicable personal protective equipment. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Strong attention to detail, desire to solve problems, and drive to resolve technical issues. Ability to work on a production floor, including standing, walking, and physically verifying hardware across multiple work centers throughout a full shift. Ability to lift items up to 40 lbs. and use lifting equipment and machinery for heavier hardware. Must possess a strong work ethic, prove ability to follow direction, and meet expectations. Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with software systems, databases and Microsoft Office Suite. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
