Job description

MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers, including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders. In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions https://adsknews.autodesk.com/en/views/inside-autodesk-operations-solutions/, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours. We're currently looking for an Account Director to close and manage our Enterprise accounts at MaintainX.This role is unique and different from almost anything else currently available in the market as you will have full ownership and accountability within a defined market at MaintainX. While you will have numerous resources to ensure your success, you will be completely full-cycle: from prospecting, discovery, demo, to signature. Reporting directly to a Director of Enterprise Sales, and with high visibility across the team, this is a difference-making, meaningful, high-responsibility role. We expect the right candidate to be someone who thinks outside the box, thrives under pressure, and is laser-focused on meeting targets every single month. What you’ll do: - New Logo Sales – Own new-logo enterprise growth across South East US territory, closing complex, multi-site deals from first conversation through signature. - Prospecting – While you will be provided a healthy amount of leads from other sources (such as marketing and the BDR team), our plan requires some pipeline contribution from self outbound prospecting efforts. Build and manage your own pipeline through targeted prospecting, executive outreach, partner signals, and coordinated campaigns with BDR and Marketing. - Lead Conversion – You will be “handed” warm leads on a regular basis and will need to become elite at nurturing those leads from sales cycle to close. - Presentation – You will be responsible for presentations, such as discovery calls, high-level product demonstrations, and closing calls. - Forecast – You will be expected to accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales with +/- 15% accuracy. - Systems – We’re a tech company, so we provide you great technology to do your job. You will become a master of using systems like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others. - Sell to operational and executive buyers — including COOs, VP Operations, Reliability, Engineering, and Maintenance leaders — using the language of uptime, OEE, MTTR, safety, and asset performance. - Lead full-cycle enterprise sales motions, including discovery, business-case development, multi-threading, stakeholder alignment, procurement, negotiation, and close. - Build territory plans that prioritize the right accounts, industries, and expansion opportunities across the region. - Navigate 6–12+ stakeholder buying committees and maintain disciplined forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and mutual action plans. - Bring market feedback back to Product, Marketing, and GTM leadership to help sharpen how MaintainX wins in EMEA. About you: - B2B sales experience. - 7+ years of enterprise B2B software closing experience, with a track record of owning full-cycle sales into large, complex organizations. - Documented success as a closer. Ability to articulate metrics and data. - Willingness to prospect and contribute to your own pipeline. Whatever it takes. - Experience conducting your own discovery calls and product demonstrations. - Experience selling into manufacturing, industrials, energy, utilities, facilities, logistics, or other asset-intensive environments. - Comfortable moving fast, multi-tasking, and keeping the energy high. - Outstanding verbal and written communication ability. - Insanely detail-oriented and organized. - Personality traits: positive, passionate, creative, smart, high-character. - BA degree or higher. Bonus if you have: - Experience with modern sales tech stacks: Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, etc. - Experience with startups and entrepreneurial organizations. - Experience working in CMMS or facility operations software. - Documented success working in a remote setting. What’s in it for you: - Competitive salary and meaningful equity opportunities. - Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage. - 401(k) / RRSP program. - Take what you need PTO. - A Work Culture https://crew.vc/perspectives-insights/scaling-culture-through-hyper-growth/ where: - You’ll work alongside folks across the globe that reflect the MaintainX values, Smart Humble Optimist - We believe in meritocracy, where ideas and effort are publicly celebrated Our mission is to keep the physical world running. Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using. That is what we build.
