HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE… As a Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality products to customers by operating, monitoring, and supporting packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your commitment to food safety, quality, operational excellence, and teamwork will help ensure products are packaged efficiently and meet the highest standards. WHAT YOU WILL DO… • Safely set up, operate, monitor, and adjust packaging equipment to support production requirements. • Operate packaging machinery including: • Elopak • Bosch • Nimco • Jones • SIG • WIP Coordinator (Utility Driver) • Rotate between workstations and provide break relief coverage as needed. • Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to maintain efficiency, quality, and production output. • Complete required production, quality, and operational paperwork accurately and timely. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with housekeeping standards. • Support and participate in preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime. • Follow all food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company safety procedures. • Participate in training and cross-training activities to support operational flexibility and team coverage. • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain schedule adherence. • Work overtime and weekends as needed to support business and production demands. • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision. WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH… • Packaging Team Members • Production Operators • Team Leads and Supervisors • Maintenance Technicians • Quality Assurance and Food Safety Teams • Warehouse and Material Handling Personnel • Operations Leadership WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE) • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. • Ability to speak, read, and understand English to safely and effectively perform job responsibilities. • Ability to safely operate manufacturing and packaging equipment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. • Ability to follow food safety procedures, GMPs, and workplace safety requirements. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Ability to complete production and operational documentation accurately. • Willingness to rotate positions and support operational coverage needs. • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area. • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules as required. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE) • Previous production line manufacturing experience. • Experience operating packaging equipment in a food manufacturing environment. • Food service or food handling experience. • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing operation. • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and basic equipment troubleshooting. • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts. • Cross-functional experience working in manufacturing, packaging, or production environments. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Pay: $22.65 per hourShift: 1st Shift 6:40AM-3:00PMLocation: 901 N. 200 W. Richmond, UT 84333Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
