The Business Development & Marketing Support Executive will play a key supporting role within the commercial team, contributing to both lead generation and marketing activities. The role is focused on building pipeline opportunities, supporting customer engagement initiatives, and ensuring the effective delivery of marketing campaigns and events. The role will contribute directly to pipeline development, customer engagement, and the overall growth of the commercial function. Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract, in a Hybrid job role. Working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday from 09:00 till 17:30. For this role we are open to considering a flexi/part time position for an experienced sales candidate. Support the generation and qualification of new business leads across target sectors. Conduct market research to identify potential customers, trends, and opportunities. Assist in building and maintaining an active sales pipeline. Support outreach activities (e.g. email campaigns, LinkedIn engagement, follow‑ups). Coordinate and track inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the CRM system. Support the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals. Work closely with the commercial team to support progression of opportunities. Coordinate the planning and delivery of client workshops, webinars, and events. Manage event logistics including scheduling, invitations, materials, and follow‑up. Support the development and distribution of marketing communications and campaigns. Manage client surveys, including distribution, tracking, and response collection. Compile and summarise customer feedback from events and surveys. Assist with website updates, CRM campaigns, and marketing content. Support the development of marketing assets such as presentations, case studies, and sales materials. Timely follow‑up of enquiries and campaign responses. Completion and reporting of customer surveys and feedback. Qualification (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, or related discipline. Experience in previously sales role, customer services or sales environment is required. Strong interest in developing a career in sales and marketing. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with CRM systems (desirable but not essential). High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proactive and self‑motivated with a willingness to learn.
