Shape the Future of Water Infrastructure Across New England This is not a traditional project management role. WSP is seeking a recognized municipal water leader who can grow client relationships, win strategic work, and lead delivery of some of the region's most important water and wastewater programs. As a Senior Project Manager / Client Service Leader, you will serve as a trusted advisor to municipal and utility clients while helping expand our presence throughout Massachusetts and New England. You will have access to a deep national bench of technical experts — allowing you to focus on client leadership, project success, and market growth. MassDEP compliance obligations, PFAS response programs, aging conveyance and treatment infrastructure, and the push toward comprehensive asset management are driving capital programs across the Commonwealth. WSP is actively building its presence in this market — and this role is the platform to lead that growth. You will not be inheriting a mature book of business and managing the status quo. You will be shaping it. Opportunity to build and expand a growing practice rather than simply manage projectsSignificant autonomy to develop clients, pursue opportunities, and shape market strategyAccess to national technical resources and subject matter expertsClear pathway toward Client Director, Practice Leader, and Regional Leadership roles What You'll Do Develop and strengthen executive-level relationships with municipal water and wastewater clients, utilities, and state agenciesLead business development, strategic positioning, capture planning, proposals, interviews, and contract negotiationsServe as Project Manager or Program Manager on major treatment, conveyance, pumping, resiliency, and asset management programsCollaborate with regional and national technical leaders to deliver exceptional client outcomesMentor project managers and technical staffRepresent WSP through NEWEA, MWWA, AWWA, ACEC, and regional industry eventsHelp shape growth strategy for the New England water market Ideal Candidate PE license required12+ years of municipal water/wastewater consulting experienceEstablished relationships with Massachusetts municipalities, utilities, and MassDEPDemonstrated success winning and delivering complex infrastructure programsStrong executive presence and client-facing leadership skillsExperience managing multidisciplinary teams across planning, design, and construction phases Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $168,900- $323,300 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
