Job description

Manage and scale a high-performing team of engineers and vendor partners, fostering a culture of engineering excellence. Own the strategy for integrated GCBP non-production test environments, eliminating cross-system bottlenecks across CPQ, Ordering, Billing, Payments, and Finance. Drive the adoption of enterprise-wide testing frameworks and synthetic test data generators, establishing automated coverage across critical user journeys. Partner with Engineering, Product and PGM teams to define and enforce standardized release policies, automated presubmit gates, and synchronized feature-flag rollouts to reduce production incidents. Collaborate with executive stakeholders across Google Cloud to advocate for architectural decoupling and shift-left quality best practices. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software development with enterprise systems, with oversight of release engineering, infrastructure, governance, or SRE domains. 6 years of experience managing engineering productivity, test infrastructure, or release engineering for large-scale enterprise SaaS, Billing, or ERP/Lead-to-Cash ecosystems. 6 years of experience in technical leadership and people management of software engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating Autonomous agents into developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines, test generation, or self-healing environment operation. Experience designing and scaling distributed end-to-end (E2E) test automation frameworks with deep assertions and automated synthetic test data provisioning (e.g., Accounts, Contracts, and Payment Profiles) across heterogeneous first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) systems. Proven track record of defining and enforcing enterprise release policies, synchronized feature-flag governance, and automated presubmit/release certification gates across complex business systems (e.g., CPQ, Ordering, Billing, Payments, Finance).
