Job description

Define and steer the global goal and strategy for GDC’s Environmental Programs, prioritizing community concerns related environmental program, aligning regional initiatives with evolving Google standards and global GDC operational models. Partner with executive GDC leadership, CSRM, and EHS stakeholders to integrate and execute environmental initiatives as a core GDC business strategy to enable licenses to operate. Standardize and oversee the global environmental risk management framework to identify, evaluate, and mitigate end-to-end environmental risks, ensuring proactive adaptation to market forces. Establish and monitor global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving global and industry level benchmarking across all operating models with a focus on community-specific environmental impacts. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, related fields, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in program management. 5 years of experience implementing environmental programs in the tech sector. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or related fields. 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience or knowledge of mission critical operations with respect to high-stakes environmental programs and communications management. Experience or knowledge of acoustical engineering and acoustical data analysis. Outstanding skills and experience in collaboration and relationship-building with cross-functional teams and executive-level stakeholders, and strong problem-solving and project management skills.
