Primary Function of Position: Intuitive has an opportunity available for an Environmental Manager to join the team. The Environmental Manager will oversee the development and management of Intuitive’s Environmental programs. Responsibilities: • Develop, administer and implement, environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements • Manage environmental compliance programs, conduct audits, and interact with regulatory agencies • Review and analyze environmental documentation issued by the federal EPA, state and local regulatory agencies • Interact with federal, state and local regulators to resolve compliance issues; establish permit requirements and assist in EPA, state and local regulatory audits • Managing compliance programs including: • Air quality management programs including federal, state and local permits • Refrigerant monitoring and reporting • Industrial water compliance programs including stormwater and wastewater • Hazardous waste handling and disposal • ISO 14001 Environmental Management System • Educate stakeholders of meaning and interpretation of all OSHA, EPA and Intuitive related standards • Develop professional relationships externally and participate in industry peer meetings Qualifications Experience, Education: • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, geology, or related discipline • 8+ years of experience in EH&S specializing in Environmental Program Management Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Comprehensive knowledge of environmental programs such as hazardous waste, stormwater, wastewater and air permitting. • Comprehensive knowledge of EPA (federal and local) and OSHA (federal and local) laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to environmental programs • Capable of identifying known potential environmental exposures and recommending corrective action • Experience developing and implementing environmental programs • Strong computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite • Project Management, interpersonal and leadership skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills It started with a simple idea: what if surgery could be less invasive and recovery less painful?
