We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer – Senior to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our Cummins’ business in Columbus, IN. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Drive high-quality product decisions by integrating input from cross-functional stakeholders and supplier partners - Advance project timelines by making informed, timely decisions on daily engineering and testing activities - Improve product reliability by proactively identifying risks and mitigating failure modes early in development - Strengthen engineering processes through effective use of ESW, iDFMEA, FIRG, and structured problem-solving tools - Lead ownership of components or smaller projects, ensuring accountability for quality, scope, and delivery - Enhance cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless execution across engineering and manufacturing disciplines - Develop and refine work processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and overall product quality - Mentor and guide junior team members and technicians to elevate team capability and knowledge sharing
