Focus: AI workload-driven product development, test strategy, and production readinessWhy This Role: Full system-stack ownership, direct executive visibility, and the opportunity to define — not just follow — product development strategy.Lead system-level product development for AI infrastructure platforms, using workload-driven and data-informed validation to ensure product quality, yield, and readiness from definition through ramp. You will operate across compute, memory, storage, and connectivity subsystems — driving system-level integration and early bring up before full platform maturity.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:System Product OwnershipOwn end-to-end system product development across product development stacks for AI infra products.Drive early system learning through simulation-based validation before hardware, firmware, and silicon maturityTranslate product requirements into workload-driven validation strategies, linking real workload behavior to system-level coverage and product qualityAI-Enhanced Test Strategy & ValidationDefine test strategies using workload-informed coverage and data-driven screeningUse AI-assisted analysis to identify coverage gaps and optimize test efficiencyUse AI-assisted workflows to accelerate test code development, including spec-to-code generation and automated validationPartner with Test Engineering to deliver scalable and robust production test solutionsSystem Validation & Failure AnalysisLead system-level failure analysis across NPI and qualification phasesDebug issues across hardware, firmware, and system interactionsCorrelate system-level workload behavior to component-level stress and failure mechanisms to improve coverage and yieldData-Driven Yield OptimizationAnalyze large-scale test data to identify yield limiters and detect anomaliesDrive data-informed decisions, including practical use of ML-based classification where appropriateTest FirmwareContribute to and own test firmware development aligned with system-level test and product requirementsCross-Functional LeadershipAct as product development lead working with Design, System, FW, TE, HW, SW, Quality, and Operations teamsDeliver clear executive-level updates grounded in data and system insightsAI-Enabled Engineering PracticesLeverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, debug, and test development workflowsPromote best practices in AI-assisted engineering across the team Education • BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field Experience • 6–12+ years in system product engineering, validation, or test development Technical Skills • Strong understanding of system architecture across compute, memory, storage, and interconnects • Proficiency in Python and C/C++ • Experience with data analysis, failure analysis and yield optimization Key Traits • Strong product ownership and system thinking across multiple domains • Data-driven decision maker • Hands-on coder or effective AI workflow orchestrator — non-negotiable • Ability to define methodology, not just follow existing playbooks Sandisk understands how people and businesses consume data and we relentlessly innovate to deliver solutions that enable today’s needs and tomorrow’s next big ideas.
