Job description
Purpose: To support in the development, implementation, and management of the Franchise A strategies and to facilitate the governance and business alignment with the alliances JBI and Genmab. Job responsibilities: The commercial strategy director reports directly to the Vice president of Franchise A and is a member of the franchise leadership team. Develops Business plans that incorporate long and short-range strategic planning, works closely with the Finance Director and the rest of the leadership on these plans. Structures strategic planning sessions. Coordinates content for leadership team governance and develops Staff agenda. Coordinates internal communications and culture efforts with functional leadership and PA team – including Franchise A Townhalls and dynamic communication efforts. Plays an essential role in the management of critical projects as defined by the business. Supports VP in important interactions and alignment with the 2 alliances to enhance efficiencies and agility in decision-making. This includes: Collaborating on key co-commercialization projects and capability builds Assist in VP preparation for multiple Leadership Alignment meetings, JCCs, JSCs, etc. Plays leading role in emerging Franchise A portfolio management – field communication conduit and cadence, prioritization of BU1 assets and indications as examples. 7-10 years of relevant experience required. Proven interpersonal and negotiation skills to develop and maintain successful and healthy partnerships. Must demonstrate critical thinking for conflict resolution; risk management; organizational alignment and demonstrate strong communication skills. Familiarity with legal and contractual governance. Experience working with external partners preferred. Ability to think creatively and strategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups internally and externally. Willingness to be accountable for all aspects of the alliance partnership. Ability to work efficiently in a matrix organization.
