Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: Utilizing 3D CAD to design subcomponent and assemblies used from development through mass production Utilizing design for manufacturing (DFM) knowledge specific to manufacturing processes to negotiate design changes with suppliers Utilizing geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to make 2D drawings of 3D parts Supporting battery module, display module, or other consumer module NPI build with process capability analysis and design of experiments (DOE) as necessary to troubleshoot issues Tracking design changes and updates using the bill of materials (BOM) shared with suppliers Summarize failure analysis, assembly data, and DOE results to draw key conclusions for leadership and cross functional review Use solid mechanics, mechanics of statics/dynamics, and statistical analysis to implement and validate NPI mechanical design changes Working with module assembly suppliers or system assembly suppliers for module/system reliability failure analysis in NPI Supporting battery module, display module, or other consumer module NPI build with process capability analysis and design of experiments (DOE) as necessary to troubleshoot issues Working with battery module parts, display module parts, or other consumer module suppliers for module/system reliability failure analysis in NPI Preferred Qualifications: N/A
