Job description

This role supports assigned franchise(s) product launches and manages multiple core marketing and business processes. Responsible for analysis, planning, implementation and control of tactical programs working with agencies, third party vendors, cross functional partners and integrated brand team. Responsibilities Speaker and key opinion leader development. Strategic and tactical execution for ad boards, consultancy, conventions, and professional alliances. Training on marketing materials, development of local marketing plans and liaison between marketing and the Sales Region. Responsible for developing and articulating effective marketing strategies that are impactful, executable, easily communicated, and clinically/financially supported for areas of responsibility. Demonstrates ability to segment a market, select optimal target audiences and position effectively for the target segment. Manages regional consultancy, ad boards, speaker programs, meetings, and medical education projects within assigned budget. Continually evaluates and applies knowledge of the effectiveness (Return On Investment/share impact analysis) and efficiency (expense control) of tactics. Effectively manages projects to deliver high-quality work product in a timely fashion (meets deadlines). Ensures that regulatory guidelines are followed. Maintains a working knowledge of industry information sources (MD/Channel level data, audits/secondary data and primary research). Uses appropriate data sources to evaluate effectiveness of promotion (Return On Investment/share impact analysis) and develop business strategy. Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field. Advanced degree or previous sales/marketing experience required. MBA preferred. Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products. Minimum 5 years of sales or marketing pharmaceutical experience including clinical liaison, sales training, marketing, Sr. Account Executive or District Manager experience. Valid driver’s license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements Ability to travel adequately to cover territory, as well as overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment
