⠀ CAE, a global leader in aviation training, is seeking a Gulfstream Avionics Training Instructor to join our Maintenance Training Center of Excellence. If you have experience maintaining Gulfstream aircraft and are passionate about sharing your expertise with others, this could be an excellent opportunity to help develop the next generation of aviation maintenance professionals. CAE offers a comprehensive training program designed to transform experienced maintenance technicians into world-class instructors and subject matter experts. Key Responsibilities: Deliver classroom and hands-on aircraft maintenance training using aircraft, training devices, and simulation tools. Administer theoretical examinations and practical assessments as required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer training records. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development, review, and maintenance of instructor guides, customer training materials, and courseware. Support the development of new training courses and instructional modules. Prepare training environments and materials prior to the start of training sessions. Maintain technical proficiency and complete all required recurrent training. Deliver a professional, engaging, and customer-focused learning experience. Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve training content and delivery methods. Minimum Qualifications Proven hands-on aircraft avionics experience on one or more of the following Gulfstream platforms: Gulfstream G500, 600, 650 or G700 Strong avionics maintenance experience. Valid FAA A&P, Transport Canada AME, EASA, or equivalent aircraft maintenance license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and internet-based tools. Demonstrated customer-service orientation and passion for knowledge sharing. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse global team. Ability to travel globally a minimum of 30-40% of the time. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods during instruction or demonstrations. Ability to lift, move, and carry training equipment or aircraft components up to 25-30 lbs (11-14 kg). Ability to climb stairs and access training devices or aircraft areas as required. Ability to sit and work at a computer for prolonged periods while developing or updating training materials. Ability to travel globally up to 50%, which may include long flights and extended periods in classrooms or customer sites. Must have sufficient mobility, vision, and dexterity to operate training devices, classroom equipment, and relevant tools safely. Preferred Qualifications Prior instructional, coaching, mentoring, or technical training experience. Experience delivering aviation maintenance training. Experience developing or maintaining technical courseware and instructional materials. Strong presentation and classroom facilitation skills. Experience working in business aviation maintenance environments.
