Amentum is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Logistics Analyst to join our Position, Navigation and Timing Program in Elkridge, Maryland. This position may also need to work occasionally out of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland . The ideal candidate will be open to learning new tasks, and have prior experience with warehouse operations, the Army Supply System, and performing in multiple roles. The ideal candidate will also be a committed team member, resourceful, and dedicated to providing services to military clients. The ideal candidate will also be a self-starter who is motivated and works well with or without supervision. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Prepare documents for shipping and receiving • Perform functional tests of all systems received for quality purposes. • Warehouse management, receipt, inventory, and storage of equipment; automated inventory control and processing; automated reporting of failure data; automated configuration management support; management and issue of materiel to gaining units; processing packaging, handling, and shipment of materiel for repair/warranty evaluation. • Prepare status reports reflecting quality checks and weekly activity reports. • Provide oversight for all aspects of logistics for the contract; including oversight of system fielding, implementation and execution of field support. • Approve final version of reporting for obsolescence management, maintenance reporting, failure reporting, asset reporting, post fielding reports etc.. • Monitor efficiency of field support personnel and makes recommendations regarding co-use of personnel. • Perform system life-cycle cost analysis, and develop component studies. • Provide oversight for planning and execution of training support across all programs. • Stay informed of logistics technology advances, and Government policies and apply them in order to improve logistics processes. • Support assembly, staging, and warehousing activities, such as: • Inventory management, spares forecasting, and support operations for Government Furnished Property (GFP) • Receive and store Government owned assets (including prototype, test equipment); and shall coordinate and ship assets to repair facilities. • Accept inbound equipment and maintain accurate accountability records, as well as inventory, assemble, warehouse, and package and ship outbound equipment including repair parts and hazardous materials to various CONUS and OCONUS locations as required. • Perform assembly, staging, packing, unpacking, storage, transporting, and delivery of Government owned equipment and/or materials. • Coordinate the receipt of materiel and equipment between the Contractor facility, gaining commands, Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB), and Supply Support Activity (SSA) organizations • Provide property and inventory management, distribution and transportation management, maintenance of equipment, and facilities support. Minimum Requirements : • Associates degree and at least ten (10) years of logistics analysis experience, OR; High school diploma/GED, and at least 12 years of logistics analysis experience • Experience in the integrated logistics support field, including any of the following areas of logistics program planning and concept development: logistics program management and execution; logistics requirements analyses, documentation development and reporting; provisioning, supply support, and inventory control; logistics automated information systems and analysis tools; maintenance concepts and requirements analyses; and/or technical manual development and training. • Experience related to planning, design, development, evaluation, control, and/or logistics support of tactical, electronic, or mechanical systems • Must have a valid U.S. passport or acquire one within the first 90 days of employment. Occasional travel is required up to 25% of the time in both CONUS and OCONUS to support test events and property handoff to units being fielded new equipment. • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: • Military Experience in a Supply Career Management Field, familiar with the policies and procedures of the U.S. Army supply system • General Understanding of Position, Navigation and Timing System (GPS) • General understanding of and ability to interact with Active Duty Military personnel of all ranks • Experience in supply, stockroom, warehouse, and inventory operations • Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Experience • Experience with packaging and handling of items prepared for shipping Compensation Details: $65,000.00- $75,000 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
