Irving (if applicable) Housing stipend and relocation assistance available for students who relocate to area for their co-op term Responsibilities: Plan and implement units of product quality Perform continuous assessment of product quality Assist team to resolve operating problems with process, maintenance, and plant engineering support Lead small projects in process monitoring, investigation, and optimization Conduct statistical studies for operation review Work closely with production department to improve process and quality Follow safe practices at all times Qualifications: Enrolled in 4-year Engineering Degree: Chemical, Mechanical, and/or Pulp & Paper; and have completed at least 2 yearsMust have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skillsThe following engineering courses are applicable: Fluid Mechanics, Process Control, Heat and Mass Transfer, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Statistics
