Job Summary This job focuses on the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts, ensuring alignment with software engineering standards. The role requires executing tests, analyzing results, and reporting defects to enhance product quality. Key responsibilities include collaborating with developers to integrate testing strategies, crafting detailed documentation, and contributing to code reviews. The position requires staying current with test automation advancements and repairing scripts of intermediate complexity with some guidance. About Tech 360 Tech360 is Comcast's field technician platform - a suite of mobile (iOS) and cloud-based microservices that streamline the end-to-end technician workflow, from work order management and scheduling to equipment operations, device provisioning, field surveys, and on-site support. The platform empowers Comcast's field technicians with real-time tools for installations, appointments, security reporting, and offline-capable operations, ensuring efficient and reliable service delivery to customers. Key Responsibilities: • Perform end-to-end manual testing for iOS applications and web applications ensuring high-quality deliverables • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebdriverIO • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies • Identify, log, and track defects through resolution with clear documentation • Participate in test planning, test case design, and execution activities • Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and frameworks • Support automation integration into CI/CD pipelines for faster releases • Analyze test results and provide clear reporting on quality metrics and risks • Continuously improve knowledge of testing tools, frameworks, and best practices Technical Skills - Must Have • 3+ years of experience in manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications • Strong understanding of test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management • Proficiency in test automation using WebdriverIO, Selenium, or similar frameworks, with basic JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge • Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Bruno or Postman • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills • Excellent collaboration, communication, and attention to detail with a quality-first mindset Technical Skills - Nice to Have • Experience with Playwright automation framework • Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks such as XCUITest or Appium • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration • Familiarity with Git and version control best practices • Basic understanding of performance and security testing concepts About Our Perks & Benefits: We are determined to create an environment where our employees feel valued, understand our business goals, and are motivated.
