Facilities Specialist - Carpentry

Job description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Learn and perform new duties with minimal guidance Assist with projects and respond to emergent repairs. Perform routine and non-routine duties independently Diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions Understand technical knowledge or skills not easily or quickly learned on the job Use power tools to complete tasks and projects Complete and/or assist with carpentry projects Maintain inventory of supplies Maintain outside grounds Give general assistance to supervisor Communicates effectively with client staff members Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner Majority of time spent on various construction, drywall, and carpentry projects Working independently and in a team environment on internal construction projects of various size and scope Performs other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: Work independently Handle multiple priorities; Communicate effectively, Reason and solve problems; Verify and approve work of self and others; Strong math skills Basic Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma Minimum of one year of experience in general maintenance Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
