Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. This is a full time, permanent position. Shift work is required for this role. Working 08:00 - 18:00, 4 days on then 4 days off. As a TSMS Laboratory Technician you will work within the TS/MS Laboratory group within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism. Job Responsibilities that you be covering: You will support cell culture and downstream purification activities, including equipment setup, bioreactor preparation, and media/feed/buffer make‑ups. You will maintain laboratory equipment by performing routine checks, calibrations, reagent replenishment, and coordinating maintenance or service with staff and project schedules. You will manage laboratory stocks and consumables to ensure continuous availability and smooth day‑to‑day operations. You will complete all tasks with strong attention to safety, housekeeping, and quality standards, reporting and following up on any discrepancies or safety items. You will document work accurately and on time, maintaining equipment records, ELNs, and associated data files in line with company requirements. You will provide general laboratory and staff support, assisting colleagues as needed and remaining flexible to meet customer and business needs across different areas. What skills, qualifications and experiences you will hold as an TSMS Laboratory Technician: You hold, or have experience of a diploma or higher in a scientific discipline (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology) or equivalent industry experience. You have strong planning and organisational skills to manage laboratory tasks effectively. You have experience of laboratory‑scale cell culture techniques and equipment, including aseptic technique, media preparation, and autoclave operation. You hold strong IT skills for data entry, documentation, and use of laboratory software systems. You hold effective communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. You have experience of working within a laboratory environment, following procedures, and supporting scientific operations.
