Learn more about the expertise of our Facilities team – where design meets purpose.Utilizing a strategic mindset, the Engineering Manager in our Facilities market sector focuses on operations and business development with a strategic mindset. This role steps confidently into client-facing conversations while successfully balancing a variety of projects. As a leader in the community, this role contributes to the growth of the organization by identifying, pursuing, and supporting new business and project opportunities.Key responsibilities:Develop, build, and manage relationships with strategic partners and customers, both public and private, to build a pipeline of projects.Lead engineering design and project management for Facilities projects, including interacting directly with clients to ensure successful project deliveryIdentify pursuits and position market sector to secure new business in existing and new marketsWork with other internal market sectors to develop joint pursuits and encourage cross selling to existing clientsMentor and develop team members in both technical skills and professional growthAssist with proposals, presentations, and participation in professional organizations and tradeshowsAbility to travel nationwide as needed.Other duties as assigned/commensurate with a senior engineer role Our ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with a team and diving into new challenges, and will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, or structural Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institutionProfessional Engineering license in area of expertise5+ years of progressively responsible work experienceExceptional skills in team leadership, coordination, and supportAbility to communicate effectively and appropriately with groups both internally and externallyMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel. Additional Preferred Experience/Skills:Five years of demonstrated experience managing multiple clients and projects while overseeing a team, or teams, of people. Big challenges need bold thinkers.
