Team Leader – CL 112 Location and Shift: - Sanitation Department - 3rd Shift 10:00p.m. to 7:00a.m. - Extended hours may be needed-including weekends. Team Leaders will potentially work in environments below 40 degrees and in areas more than 60 degrees. Responsibilities: - Leads team members in the distribution process - Manages team members in attaining production and quality goals. - Ensures appropriate resources (including materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain production schedules. - Supports continuous improvement processes to ensure that goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service are met. - Creates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve business results. - Team Leaders are usually "on their feet" in the production area about 80% of the shift. Qualifications: Required: - 1+ year as a shift lead, shift supervisor, assistant manager, etc. OR Associates Degree. - Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal) - Good attendance record - Strong computer skills (AS400, Mainframe, Microsoft Office) - Strong organizational skills along with a sense of urgency and personal accountability. - Self-Motivated and a strong commitment to personal development Training: - Approximately six weeks are spent in a hands-on training environment before being assigned to a department. - Team Leaders will attend a virtual Inspired Hires orientation. This will include presentations by different divisions to increase product knowledge, company knowledge, and leadership skills. - 6-month operational training program while on the job.
