Test Engineer, Lead - Onsite Position We have an opportunity for a T est Engineer, Lead to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA As our Test Engineer, Lead you will design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. You will prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test equipment, and complete specifications and procedures for new products. Also provide assistance with planning of labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating manufactured products. Performs product testing or formal qualification activities and generates related documentation. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer. Your Challenge:Perform moderately complex tasks related to testing manufactured products.Develop test plans and conduct testing activities, including formal qualification, on complex systems and subsystems to meet program requirements.Use test procedures, investigate and analyze test failures, recommending corrective action as appropriate.Assist systems engineers with development of test specifications, methods and procedures.Prepare product verification documentation and technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to a wide variety of technical problems.Develops proposal inputs related to product testing or test equipment and present them to department and program personnel.Assist with required maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading, or new development of automated test equipment in support of manufacturing operations.Create test equipment technical data package, including design documentation, drawings, and technical manualsWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field with minimum 7 years of related experienceAbility to deliver urgent attention and responsive problem solvingKnowledge of aerospace and defense industry requirements and demandsAbility to work effectively under pressure of schedule and technical constraintsExpertise with electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to determine problemsExperience testing complex systems and writing test reportsExcellent interpersonal, written and oral skillsWho We AreOur ValuesEnvironmental, Social and GovernanceThe Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions facility in Santa Clarita, California is the center of excellence for hardware level system integration and advanced package design.Integrated Systems in Santa Clarita prides itself on experience, expertise, and low risk solutions.
