Chase is investing in new ways to deepen customer engagement by connecting the dots on customer behaviors and creating seamless experiences. You will join a team focused on delivering highly personalized experiences across money movement services and payments. As a Quant Analytics Associate at JPMorganChase within the Payments Analytics team in Data and Analytics, you will help design and build transaction tagging capabilities across Chase banking payments products. You will translate business needs into tagging frameworks, define metrics, source data, develop queries, and create reporting that supports descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. Job responsibilities Design and refine transaction tagging logic to classify and enrich payments transaction dataPartner with Payments Product Owners to translate business needs into tagging frameworks and rulesDefine metrics and measurement approaches to support customer engagement and product outcomesSource, transform, and validate data used in tagging and analytics workflowsDevelop and maintain queries and reporting to monitor tagging performance and coverageCreate clear analyses and presentations for stakeholder updates, including larger group settingsDrive alignment across stakeholders on how tagging should be applied and used across productsRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills Undergraduate or graduate degree in a quantitative disciplineDemonstrated attention to detail and strong quality standards in analytics deliverablesStrong communication skills, including presenting to larger groupsCollaborative mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a team2+ years of applied experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) and data visualization (for example, Alteryx, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, SAS, R, or Python)Strong SQL skills, with Snowflake as the primary data environmentExperience developing agentic workflows (for example, automated multi-step analysis or decision workflows)Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and prioritize effectivelyTrack record of driving projects to completion and delivering outcomesStakeholder management skills and focus on building long-lasting working relationshipsInterest and/or experience in the payments or banking industry
