Software Engineer, Supply Chain

Job description

Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes including customer ordering. Identify, assess, estimate, and solve complex business challenges, where analysis of situations/scenarios or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors including AI model accuracy. Develop, build, and deploy solutions and work closely with business teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that include ML pipelines implementing regression techniques. Maintain highest levels of development practices (on Google Cloud Platform/Google3) including: technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution, writing clean, modular, and self-sustaining code. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and Technology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent. Experience working with one or more generative AI models (e.g., Gemini, OpenAI) during projects, research, or professional experience. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in either an academic or industry setting. 2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging. Experience working in one or more of the following domains - supply chain, customer products, customer sales. Knowledge of software implementation lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, support).
