Job description

The CNC Machinist & Mechanical Assembly Technician role involves building, fabricating, and assembling custom machinery and automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to changing priorities. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Fabrication & Assembly Interpret and work from mechanical fabrication drawings. Provide feedback to the mechanical design team for improvements or clarifications. Perform precision fabrication using hand tools and power tools. Assemble pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Machining & CNC Operations Operate CNC equipment such as lathes and mills (experience preferred but not required). Electrical Panel Wiring Wire electrical panels according to provided electrical schematics. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Support & Collaboration Assist the automation team with equipment testing and troubleshooting. Perform miscellaneous tasks related to machine building and integration. Travel Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for installations, support, or training. High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English. Intermediate proficiency in reading part and assembly drawings. Ability to maintain a steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and climbing onto and beneath machines. Experience operating CNC machines Familiarity with automation equipment and testing procedures. Additional Preferences Basic computer skills. Proven mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality. Proven ability to accept direction and complete tasks as assigned while working as part of a team or individually.
