Software Development Engineer, Data - AI, Search & Knowledge Platforms

Job description

We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and build internal datasets and pipelines that improve developer workflows, ensure data quality, and strengthen system reliability at scale. This role sits at the intersection of developer experience, data reliability, and telemetry — with opportunities to work across both server-side systems and client devices. You’ll work on tools and frameworks that give engineers better visibility into system health and data quality, while also driving improvements in CI/CD processes and automation. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building platforms that empower other engineers and who thrives in fast-moving environments. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software or data engineering experienceStrong ability to turn ambiguous product or business questions into clear data solutions. Strong programming and data skills, including SQL and Python, and experience with large-scale data pipelines. Experience with data quality, validation, and large datasets. Experience writing and maintaining high-quality, well-tested code. Knowledge of data quality frameworks and validation techniques. Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field. Preferred Qualifications: Strong sense of ownership and accountability for reliability and quality. Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex systems into clear explanations. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Prior experience in developer experience engineering, platform engineering, or CI/CD environments is highly desirable.
