Job Summary This position supports Warehouse Operations and Logistics in Woodridge, Illinois, within a fast-paced environment. The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for executing daily shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and organization. This role requires a hands-on individual who can balance physical warehouse responsibilities with system-based order and shipment processing activities. Key Characteristics Detail-Oriented Reliable Safety Minded Organized Duties & Responsibilities Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately and efficiently Prepare shipments and create shipping labels (UPS, FedEx, or similar systems) Operate a stand-up reach truck forklift to move, load, and organize inventory Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials Support inventory-related tasks, including counting and tracking stock as needed Update and maintain order and shipment information within ERP or warehouse systems to support accurate fulfillment and tracking Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safe working conditions Follow all OSHA guidelines and company safety standards Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to lift and move materials (up to 45 lbs) and remain on your feet throughout the shift Proficiency with ERP or warehouse systems (e.g., JD Edwards or similar) to support order processing and shipment activities Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including a stand-up reach truck forklift Education & Experience Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Prior warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment Current stand-up reach truck forklift certification with hands-on operating experience (Crown or similar equipment) Experience with picking, packing, and shipping processes Experience navigating ERP or warehouse systems to support order processing and shipment activities Strong communication skills and reliability Preferred: Experience with UPS, FedEx, or similar shipping systems Additional inventory or warehouse systems experience
