Job Summary: JOB DESCRIPTION – Senior Accountant Location: Work From Home - California Division: Ticketmaster North America Line Manager: Senior Manager, Accounting Contract Terms: Permanent, 40 Hours per week (full-time) THE TEAM The Ticketmaster North America Accounting team is responsible for preparing accounting entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and supporting balance sheet reporting for Live Nation’s financial reporting process. The team also plays a key role in coordinating and supporting internal and external audits across the division, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial activities. THE JOB We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts across multiple Ticketmaster business lines. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, motivated self-starter with strong Excel skills and a passion for accuracy and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING • Prepare and record month-end journal entries to support accurate and timely financial close. • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly to ensure SOX compliance and financial accuracy. • Investigate and resolve reconciling items by partnering with internal stakeholders in a timely manner. • Maintain schedules supporting ticketing revenue deferral to ensure accurate revenue recognition. • Prepare reports and journal entries related to ticket sales and revenue recognition processes. • Maintain amortization and accrual schedules to support financial reporting requirements. • Prepare accruals for fulfillment-related activities to ensure completeness of financial records. • Support internal and external audits, including quarterly and annual SOX, financial, and sales tax audits. • Assist in preparing ad hoc financial analyses and schedules for internal management reporting. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and ensure data integrity.
