Job description
• Assist engineers with developing test plans for HVAC unit rating, qualification and reliability testing • Support unit rating, qualification and reliability testing • Assist engineering in product design and development • Support engineers with product development tasks such as testing and test support • Proactively identify and address product design issues that adversely affect production or product operation • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines (Mechanical preferred) • Minimum GPA of 3.0 • Understanding of engineering fundamentals. • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Test prototypes and write reports to document results • Basic knowledge of CAD (NX, Pro-E, AutoCAD or other packages) • Develop basic detail and assembly drawings for products and equipment • Proficient with hands on skills (cutting, forming, fabricating, brazing, welding) • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Strong organizational skills • Ability to perform mechanical design calculations • Ability to perform basic design modifications FHP Manufacturing, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a joint venture between Robert Bosch (BOSCH Group) and Carrier.
