The Specialist, Strategy Management Operations is a key contributor on the Global Knowledge Management & Digital Collaboration (GKMDC) team, supporting Clinical Sciences by leveraging digital tools, automation, and emerging technologies—including AI—to transform ways of working. This role focuses on enabling modern, scalable, and user‑centered digital solutions that improve how teams collaborate, manage knowledge, and execute work. This role partners closely with stakeholders across Clinical Sciences and the enterprise to translate business needs into effective digital capabilities, accelerate adoption of new technologies, and ensure knowledge and best practices are shared broadly. The position plays an active role in executing GKMDC’s strategy by contributing to initiatives across knowledge management, digital collaboration, AI‑enabled tools, automation, and continuous improvement, while remaining informed on emerging technology trends and applying them thoughtfully to real business challenges. Key Responsibilities Digital Transformation, AI & Technology Enablement Support the adoption and effective use of AI‑enabled tools and advanced digital technologies (examples: automation platforms and collaboration solutions) to improve efficiency, decision‑making, and user experience across Clinical Sciences. Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities where digital tools, automation, or AI can streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance knowledge sharing. Stay current on emerging technologies, platform enhancements, and digital trends, proactively identifying opportunities to pilot or apply new capabilities within GKMDC‑supported solutions. Knowledge Management & Digital Collaboration Design, implement, and govern knowledge management and digital collaboration solutions that enable teams to find, share, and reuse information effectively. Develop, maintain, and govern SharePoint sites, digital workspaces, and collaboration hubs that support projects, programs, communities of practice, and enterprise initiatives. Ensure key portals, channels, and sites remain current, relevant, and aligned to AbbVie brand and GKMDC standards, preventing content stagnation and improving discoverability. Coordinate and support project activities, communications, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery and adoption. Enterprise Partnership & Knowledge Sharing Partner with teams across Clinical Sciences and the enterprise to deliver scalable digital solutions and promote consistent ways of working. Actively share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned across teams and forums, helping drive reuse and enterprise‑level impact. Serve as a connector across initiatives, helping teams learn from one another and apply proven approaches more broadly. Business Consulting & Change Enablement Act as an internal consultant, translating business needs into practical digital solutions and advising teams on effective use of collaboration and productivity tools. Coach and guide teams on platform best practices, governance expectations, and recommended ways of working, reinforcing consistent and meaningful tool usage. Ways of Working & Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and digital experiences through continuous improvement and technology‑enabled solutions. Operate effectively in a dynamic, fast‑evolving environment, adapting priorities as business and technology landscapes change. Promote inclusive collaboration and diversity of thought across initiatives. Relevant experience in knowledge management, digital collaboration, operations, IT, business process improvement, or digital transformation. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams). Experience with SharePoint, including site design, content management, and governance. Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies in a continuously evolving environment. Preferred Bachelor’s degree. Experience supporting cross‑functional or enterprise‑wide initiatives in a matrixed organization. Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools, automation platforms, or workflow technologies.
