Login/Client Support Specialist This position serves as a support roll for the laboratory. This role ensures efficient and accurate running of a fast-paced laboratory. Responsible for greeting clients, vendors and visitors to the laboratory and answering general questions. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm. Must live a commutable distance to Ayer MA. This is a full time benefit eligible position. Compensation is $20/hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Regular attendance and punctuality Collect samples from on-site drop box Unpack shipments and document receipt of sample Organize and record samples Data entry into LIMS (TALS experience a PLUS) Maintenance of the department and lab, including stocking supplies and housekeeping Assist with customer services Handle interactions with walk-in clients Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner Process daily mail and small shipments of bottle kits. Provide great customer Service to walk in clients. Perform other duties as assigned Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent, further education in biological or chemical science preferred Experience in a fast pace work environment Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry preferred. TALS experience a plus Ability and Skills Strong computer, organizational, and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude Handle moderate stress in a fast-paced environment Detail oriented- Data Entry Ability to prioritize Customer Service Science based background preferred Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
