THE POSITION: EVERSANA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsel to join our legal team. This role will serve as a hands-on legal advisor and counselor supporting the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) and data initiatives. The Senior Counsel will provide legal advice and risk assessment related to AI and data use across the enterprise. The candidate will act as a trusted advisor and primary contributor, with strong ownership of outcomes. The Senior Counsel will partner with business, product, and technology teams, as well as Legal, Compliance, and Privacy colleagues, to evaluate AI use cases and provide clear, practical legal guidance that enables responsible and compliant deployment of AI capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring 10-12+ years of relevant legal experience, including experience in a similar role advising on technology, AI, data, or intellectual property matters. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required. • Juris Doctor from accredited law school • 10 - 12+ years of relevant legal experience, including experience in a similar role advising on technology, AI, data, or intellectual property matters • Strong ability to assess legal issues related to AI, data, and emerging technologies • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, cross-functional legal matters and drive issues to resolution • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver practical, business-oriented legal guidance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience working in the technology industry or with AI-driven products and services • Experience with data privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) • Strong background in intellectual property (highly preferred), including copyright, licensing, or technology/IP transactions PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
