As a Tax Analyst Sr, within PNCEF’s Tax organization, you will be based in Cincinnati, OH; Dallas, TX; Indianapolis, IN; Kalamazoo, MI; Pittsburgh, PA; or Louisville, KY. Hours: Monday through Friday. Start times vary between 7:00 a.m. EST and 9:00 a.m. EST, with end times ranging from 4:00 p.m. EST to 6:00 p.m. EST. As a Tax Analyst Sr, you will leverage strong Excel skills and work across a variety of systems, including LeasePlus, LeaseWave, Aspire, Vertex, and SharePoint. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing exemption certificates, evaluating the taxability of lease transactions, resolving customer tax-related inquiries, and supporting state and local tax audits. A key responsibility will be reviewing exemption certificates to ensure validity and compliance with applicable state regulations. You will also analyze lease transactions against taxability matrices to verify that sales and use taxes are being applied accurately. In support of audit activities, you will gather and review lease agreements, invoices, exemption certificates, and other supporting documentation based on auditor-selected samples. You will collaborate directly with external auditors representing various states, counties, and municipalities, responding to information requests, researching potential discrepancies, and resolving outstanding tax issues. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Job Description • Organizes and analyzes tax forms for filing in accordance with regulations. • Research and monitor appropriate federal, state and local tax regulations and obligations. • Preparing appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state and local jurisdictions. • Working with business units to keep them informed about tax implications of their operation. • Mentoring junior staff on appropriate regulations, filing procedures and internal communication needs. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
