Product Design Architect, Platforms and Devices

Job description

Leverage NX/Alias to capture and maintain industrial design intent from sketches, reference CAD, and discussions. Collaborate with Industrial Design, UX, Engineering, Manufacturing, and external teams to deliver production-level CAD models with Class-A surfaces (in NX/Alias) that meet requirements. Create high-quality 3D surfaces for various design concepts, prototypes, engineering evaluations and visualizations. Work independently and cross-functionally throughout the development and build process. Travel may be needed (e.g. manufacturing facilities overseas) to ensure solutions have manufacturing viability while holding the design vision intact. Present knowledge of new materials and processes, state-of-the-art innovation, and emerging technologies that inform product development. Identify future tools and processes to enhance capabilities and support department and company growth.
