Location: 726 Exchange Street, Buffalo New York Position Location Policy General Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Albany, NY, Plymouth Meeting, PA highly preferred. Covering the Eastern portfolio. Hybrid Requirement (if within specific cities): Selected candidate is expected to work on-site 2 days per week at the nearest KeyBank office (non-branch location) within the Eastern time zone. Hours: 8-5pm EST Position Summary As an integral member of the Commercial Bank team, the Cash Management Support Specialist (CMSS) is responsible for supporting the onboarding and servicing of Business Banking clients, reporting to Commercial Onboarding and Servicing (COS). The CMSS team manages incoming requests, coordinates documentation, completes quality reviews, and partners with sales and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. This role requires organization, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Essential Functions Review, triage, and manage incoming case work from sales partners by interpreting request requirements, identifying required tasks, and determining appropriate next steps to drive timely completion. Maintain working knowledge of pre-onboarding compliance requirements for multiple cash management products and ensure required documentation and approvals are obtained before fulfillment. Prepare and deliver cash management agreements and related documentation to clients through approved electronic channels. Collaborate effectively with teammates, sales partners, internal operations teams, and other business partners to facilitate accurate and efficient request processing. Manage a high-volume workload consisting of tasks in various stages of completion while ensuring requests continue to progress within expected timeframes. Perform quality verification and accuracy checks prior to submitting requests to internal teams for implementation or fulfillment. Follow documented COS procedures, controls, and risk management practices while exercising sound judgment when applying established guidelines to individual situations. Work independently with limited supervision while maintaining productivity, prioritization, and a strong sense of ownership in a fast-paced environment. Provide professional support to external clients, as needed, while representing the team in a positive and service-oriented manner. Prepare pricing proformas for sales proposals and submit pricing and rate requests accurately according to Account Analysis policy. Contribute to a collaborative team culture by demonstrating a positive attitude, accountability, and willingness to support team priorities. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, Work Experience Minimum of two (2) years of banking or cash management experience. Skills Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal partners, teammates, and external clients. Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when reviewing documentation, completing quality checks, and processing requests. Ability to interpret procedures, follow controls, and apply sound judgment within established guidelines. Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to participate effectively in a highly collaborative team environment. Client-focused mindset with a positive, collaborative approach to daily work. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $52,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
