Who We Are Looking For The Business Onboarding and Transitions team (BOaT), part of Global Business Integration within Global Delivery, is seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented professional to support the opening and ongoing maintenance of customer custody accounts. This role is well suited for an early‑career individual who thrives in a structured, process‑driven environment and values teamwork, accuracy, and client service. Why This Role Is Important to Us The team you will be joining is part of State Street Global Delivery (SSGD), which provides asset owners and managers access to essential financial tools that support effective investment solutions. From core custody and fund administration to alternative asset servicing, Global Delivery plays a critical role in supporting our clients’ ability to operate and grow in global markets. This role directly supports timely account readiness, regulatory compliance, and reliable client outcomes. What You Will Be Responsible For As an Operations Client Service – A2, you will: Act as a point of contact between internal partners and external clients regarding local market requirements for opening securities and cash accounts Prepare, review, and process foreign market account openings and amendments in accordance with established procedures Partner with internal teams, clients, and sub‑custodians to ensure accounts are accurately established and ready for trading Support ongoing market maintenance activities, including periodic market renewals Monitor and maintain reporting related to assigned clients and markets Escalate issues and potential risks to management in a timely manner Assist management in achieving project milestones and meeting delivery timelines Work with clients to ensure required proxy and corporate event documentation is on file What We Value The skills and attributes that will help you succeed in this role include: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment Clear and professional communication skills, with comfort participating in calls with internal and external stakeholders A collaborative mindset and commitment to working as part of a client service team Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required 2+ years of relevant experience in financial services or operations Custody or onboarding experience preferred but not required Are You the Right Candidate? If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
