Minimum Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering degree. Experience programming in C or C++ for high-performance computing applications. Experience with GPU programming using CUDA or Metal. Experience implementing at least one of the following numerical methods: Meshing algorithms, FEM, FDM, FVM or modeling physics related to electromagnetics, mechanics, fluid dynamics, or thermal dynamics. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years relevant industry experience. M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Demonstrated proficiency and advanced optimization skills in writing complex kernels for large-scale physics simulations. Deep foundational knowledge and a strong background in building numerical methods or meshing algorithms from scratch, rather than relying solely on off-the-shelf software. Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for hardware innovation. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively document and present complex findings to influence roadmap decisions.
