INFICON is seeking a strategic and analytically rigorous SIOP Manager to lead the ISS Division’s end-to-end Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process. In this high-impact role, you will align commercial demand, supply capability, inventory strategy, and executive decision-making to improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory and working capital, strengthen service performance, and drive operational excellence across a global high-tech manufacturing environment. Partnering closely with leaders across Sales, Product Management, Operations, Finance, Materials, and Supply Chain, you will build the visibility, discipline, and decision-making cadence needed to support faster, smarter planning across the business. Key Responsibilities: • Own the ISS Division’s end-to-end SIOP strategy and monthly planning cycle, including Demand Review, Supply Review, Inventory Review, Pre-SIOP, and Executive SIOP. • Lead demand planning and statistical forecasting across product families, integrating commercial inputs from Sales and Product Management to deliver an accurate consensus forecast. • Improve forecast performance through ongoing management of forecast accuracy, bias, demand variability, and planning assumptions. • Translate demand plans into long-range supply, capacity, and constraint models, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities across a 12–18 month horizon. • Partner with Operations, Materials, Procurement, and global sites to align supply capability, intercompany planning, and short-term S&OE priorities. • Prepare and lead Executive SIOP reviews, providing clear recommendations on demand outlook, supply gaps, revenue risk, inventory trajectory, and key business decisions. • Align operational plans with financial commitments, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets, and broader business objectives. • Develop dashboards, planning tools, and KPI reporting that improve visibility, accountability, and decision-making across the SIOP process. • Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, governance, and demand-sensing capabilities to strengthen agility and operational performance. Education • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field. Required Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in demand planning, S&OP/SIOP, or supply chain planning within manufacturing • Demonstrated ownership of the full SIOP cycle, including executive-level facilitation. • Experience leading cross-functional planning and aligning demand, supply, and business priorities • Solid understanding of forecasting, inventory, and supply planning processes, along with ERP/MRP systems • Experience analyzing data and presenting insights using reporting or BI tools • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications • Experience with SAP, IBP, APO, or similar planning systems • Experience presenting to senior leadership • APICS, IBF, or similar certification • Experience in semiconductor equipment, precision instruments, medical devices, analytical technology, aerospace/defense, or other complex manufacturing environments INFICON is a leading provider of innovative instrumentation, critical sensor technologies, and Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 software solutions that enhance productivity and quality of tools, processes, and complete factories.
