As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of technology enabled business solutions for the J.D. Irving, Limited group of companies. Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of information technology projects into the J.D. Irving businesses through all stages of the project lifecycle from original concept to implementationManage communications related to the project at all levels of the organization and across businesses; including executive levelsProactively engage in coaching and mentoring of project team members to help staff reach optimal level of performance and foster a working environment open to new ideas and innovative solutionsCollaborating with internal teams to ensure client successResponsible for the management of project scope, schedule, budget, resourcing, risk and quality managementMonitoring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for improvementManage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverablesCommunicating with customers to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any issues or concernsCommunicating the value of IT initiatives and achievements to the organization’s leadership and stakeholdersProviding guidance and support to customers in using the company product and services effectively Qualifications: Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering, MBA preferredYears of Experience Required: 3-5+ years of project management with IT experience and demonstrated career progressionExcellent leadership, people and process management skills with proven success in a fast paced environmentAbility to organize, analyze, interpret and evaluate problems and provide solutions with the right sense of urgencyStrong communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels within the organizationAbility to manage several projects simultaneouslyLean Six Sigma experience would be considered an assetProsci certification would be considered an assetAgile Project Management Certification would be considered an asset
