Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking a professional Class 1 Night Switch Driver based out of Corner Brook, NL. The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service. Responsibilities: • Running Linehaul between Corner Brook, NL, and Gander, NL • Communicate efficiently with the dispatch. • Operate the trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws. • Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation. • Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner. Qualifications: • Education Required: High School or GED. • Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required. • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search. • Night driving experience is preferred. • Familiarity with satellite systems. • Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment. • Safety conscious.
