Student Assistant (m/f/d) in the area of Optical Characterization & Photonics at our location in Eindhoven (NL)

Job description

Perform optical characterization measurements on VCSEL and photodiode devices Measure and document near-field and far-field emission patterns using beam profilers Collect and analyze spectral data using optical spectrum analyzers Execute standardized test procedures for laser sensor module performance Support data correlation between measurements and existing optical models Maintain measurement logs and create visualization reports Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's degree in physics, electrical engineering, photonics or a comparable technical course of study Basic understanding of optics and laser principles as well as data analysis skills with Excel, MATLAB or Python Safe, precise work with optical devices in compliance with applicable safety standards Responsible, structured, detail-oriented and conscientious way of working Very good written and spoken English skills 8 - 16 hours per week / 6 months Working in a dynamic, young, high-tech company
