Job description
About the Team DoorDash’s mission is to grow and empower local economies. By building intelligent, last-mile delivery technology for local cities, DoorDash connects people with the local businesses they care about — helping grow businesses and the communities that support those businesses. To further this mission, we’re looking for a marketer who will sit at the intersection of growth, brand, product, and operations to lead DoorDash’s new channels strategy — identifying, testing, and scaling net-new marketing channels (such as Influencer & Affiliate, SMS, and other emerging channels) to drive incremental new customer and MAU (Monthly Average User) growth. This role owns a portfolio of channel bets end-to-end, from early-stage testing through to scaled, always-on programs. The integrated marketing team is a group of marketing generalists responsible for translating business goals into marketing strategies and serving as the general manager across the organization to bring those strategies to market. About the Role The Consumer Integrated Marketing team is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and data-driven marketer to lead DoorDash’s new channels strategy — identifying, testing, and scaling new marketing channels to drive incremental new customer and MAU (monthly active users) growth efficiently. This role will report into the MAU Marketing lead, and will own end-to-end strategy — from ideation and testing through to scaled execution and measurement — across a portfolio of new channel bets that support our broader new customer acquisition goals. This includes DoorDash’s Influencer & Affiliate program (creator recruitment, commission structure, content strategy, and measurement) as one flagship bet in that portfolio, alongside a handful of additional new channel tests. It’s an awesome blend of working on 0 to 1 nascent bets and driving impact at scale while overseeing a substantial marketing budget. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… • Own the strategy and roadmap for DoorDash’s portfolio of new channel bets — identifying, testing, and scaling channels (including Influencer & Affiliate) that drive incremental New Cx and MAU growth • Lead the build-out of DoorDash’s Influencer & Affiliate program as a flagship bet in that portfolio — from creator recruitment and onboarding to commission structure and content strategy — modeled after category leaders like Amazon • Partner closely with Eng, MarTech, and Analytics to build durable measurement and attribution infrastructure (deeplinking, tracking, incrementality) across new channel bets • Design and evolve incentive and budget structures that balance DoorDash’s efficiency goals with the dynamics of each channel (e.g., influencer earning potential) • Set content and channel strategy across verticals (Rx, New Verticals, DashPass) and seasonal moments to drive GOV, New Cx, and brand awareness • Act as the “glue” across the marketing org, aligning new channel plans with priorities from Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance • Communicate with cross-functional partners and senior leadership on program performance, risks, and roadmap progress across the full channel portfolio We’re excited about you because you have… • Bachelor’s degree or higher; MBA a plus • 5+ years of experience in performance, growth, or lifecycle marketing, with a track record of identifying, testing, and scaling new marketing channels from 0 to 1 (e.g., affiliate/influencer, SMS, or other emerging channels) • Experience collaborating and leading cross- functional workstreams with Product, CRM, paid media, creative, analytics, and finance teams • The ability to think about the business like a GM, drive forward highly cross-functional projects like a product manager, and speak to consumers (and, where relevant, external partners) like a seasoned marketer • Comfort operating with imperfect attribution — able to synthesize detailed data to make data-driven decisions while using judgment when full visibility isn’t available • A creative and entrepreneurial mindset — you enjoy building 0-to-1 programs and finding creative solutions with limited resources • Excellent verbal / written communication skills, able to manage relationships with external partners as well as brief senior stakeholders • Nice to have: familiarity with affiliate networks and creator platforms (e.g., Impact, CJ, CreatorIQ, Tagger) and how to evaluate build-vs-buy tradeoffs for program infrastructure Why You’ll Love Working at DoorDash because… • We are leaders - Leadership is not limited to our management team. It’s something everyone at DoorDash embraces and embodies. • We are doers - We believe the only way to predict the future is to build it. Creating solutions that will lead our company and our industry is what we do -- on every project, every day. • We are learners - We’re not afraid to dig in and uncover the truth, even if it’s scary or inconvenient. Everyone here is continually learning on the job, no matter if we’ve been in a role for one year or one minute. • We are customer-obsessed - Our mission is to grow and empower local economies. We are committed to our customers, merchants, and dashers and believe in connecting people with possibility. • We are all DoorDash - The magic of DoorDash is our people, together making our inspiring goals attainable and driving us to greater heights.
