Jetpack Compose Developer Relations Engineer, Android

Job description

Advocate for Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices within the developer ecosystem. Create compelling technical content, including tutorials, code samples, and documentation, to demonstrate the capabilities of Jetpack Compose. Present technical sessions and workshops at conferences, meetups, and developer events. Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to provide developer feedback and shape the roadmap for Android UI tools. Build and support developer communities by addressing technical questions and integrating AI agents to enhance developer workflows. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.) or equivalent technical experience. Experience building for Android using Kotlin. Experience with UI development. Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience in Android software development. 3 years of experience as a technical practitioner in a developer community. Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders. Experience presenting technical content to large audiences. Experience using AI Agents.
