Warehouse Associate Location: Midland, TX This position is based in Midland, TX. Employees may be assigned to work at any of AST SpaceMobile's four satellite production facilities located between Midland and Odessa, depending on business needs and team assignments. Position Summary AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support all warehouse and logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, material handling, packaging, and inventory accuracy. This role ensures materials and products are received, stored, tracked, packaged, and shipped accurately while supporting production and operational requirements. The Warehouse Associate utilizes handheld scanners, computers, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications to process inventory transactions, fulfill customer and production requests, and maintain accurate inventory records. Inventory consists primarily of small aerospace-related components maintained in significant quantities. Shift Schedules Base Pay: DOE • 1st Shift – Days (If available) • Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (4x10 schedule with paid lunch and breaks) • 2nd Shift – Nights (If available) • Monday-Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (4x10 schedule with 10% shift differential and paid lunch and breaks) • 3rd Shift – Weekends (If available) • Friday-Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (3x12 schedule with 20% shift differential and paid lunch and breaks) What you'll do: Shipping & Receiving • Receive, inspect, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation. • Process, package, and prepare outbound shipments according to customer and company requirements. • Coordinate shipments with carriers and maintain shipping and receiving schedules. • Identify and report shortages, damaged goods, discrepancies, and incorrect shipments. Inventory Control & Record Management • Accurately maintain and track inventory using WMS, ERP systems, handheld scanners, and computers. • Monitor quantity, type, and value of materials, equipment, and supplies. • Performing cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits. • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies. • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and warehouse activities. • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or concerns. Order Fulfillment & Material Handling • Pick, sort, stage, bag, issue, and prepare materials for shipment or internal use. • Accurately fulfill customer orders and internal production requests. • Verify quantities, item numbers, lot numbers, serial numbers, and shipment details. • Ensure orders are completed accurately and within established deadlines. • Perform inventory relocations, stock replenishment, and bin transfers. Packaging & Logistics • Package products according to company standards and customer specifications. • Label, wrap, and secure shipments to prevent transportation damage. • Process delivery requests and maintain shipment status through completion. • Generate shipping documentation and complete shipping transactions. Warehouse Operations • Organize and maintain warehouse locations and storage areas. • Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Support continuous improvement efforts and warehouse efficiency initiatives. • Support warehouse, logistics, and production activities as needed. Equipment Operation • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, lifting equipment, and packaging machinery. • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns. • Maintain forklift certification or obtain certification as required. Safety & Compliance • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and warehouse regulations. • Properly utilize required PPE and safe lifting techniques. • Comply with inventory control, quality, and shipping procedures. • Participate in required safety meetings and training. • Respond appropriately during emergency situations. Additional Duties • Utilize Microsoft Office, warehouse software, and inventory management systems effectively. • Perform data entry and related administrative tasks. • Complete other duties assigned by management. What you bring: • High School Diploma or GED required. • Valid Driver's License. • 0-1 year of warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory, logistics, material handling, or related experience. • U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Card Holder, or otherwise authorized to work for any employer. • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Ability to use handheld scanners, tablets, laptops, and inventory systems. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently and within a team environment. • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems. • Experience with Oracle and/or NetSuite. • Forklift certification or ability to become certified. • Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, fulfillment, warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, production, or distribution environments.
